A
large cell moved through St. Louis and I was back at the high shooting
location. The intensity was spectacular and several frames, including
one showing a strike on the Arch itself, were badly overexposed but
this one survived. It's very difficult to judge exposure on the timed
shots. Experience is the best guide. This shot also became a popular
postcard. I'm still waiting on this check, too.
